The husband and I are coming up on a year and half of marriage...I think that deserves a little celebration! Like a burger and movie night celebration ;) It seems like just yesterday we said "I do" and started the greatest adventure of our lives. I sure do love my Robert Eugene, more than I can describe, and pray for many more half anniversaries to celebrate together!

Speaking of marriage, I came across this article on Facebook the other day and it is so, so good...5 ways you are unknowingly destroying your husband and killing your marriage. It is a very intense title but a really great article. If you are a married gal, it is totally worth the read!

On our weekend getaway to Krakow, Roberto and I met Santa! It made me excited for the one day when kids will be in tow (one day far from now!) and how much fun that will be. But for now it is pretty great getting to be a kid with my husband...I don't think we are quite grownups yet.

Remember this post from last year? These Rollo Christmas Candies would make the perfect little gift to pass out this Christmas. Check out the full post and "recipe" here. It is hard to even call it a recipe because it is so easy (and so delicious)! I am thinking of doing something similar this year but maybe with my mama's peanut butter balls! I will not be making near as many as I did last year though, 360 rollos? Yeah, that was a lot of candy.

As I have mentioned before, I am meeting two of my best friends in London after Christmas! I have never been before so naturally I am SO excited. I can't wait to explore this city I have been dying to see and to do it with my best friends! This week we booked tickets to see Wicked (ahh!!) and to take the Warner Brother Harry Potter Tour- we each are huge Harry fans:)
So we are down and plan to do all things touristy. After our four nights in London we are then headed to Paris! Do you have any suggestions for London or Paris?? Where should we eat? What do we have to see? We need any and all suggestions!
Thanks for stopping by, friends! I hope each of you has a fun and relaxing weekend!!
Your going to have such a blast on your trip. Will you be spending NYE in Paris? That would be magical!
ReplyDeleteOooh have so much fun seeing Wicked!! My now-husband took me to see it for my 30th birthday in NY and I LOVED IT!!!

ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting you're going to London!! Wicked is such a great show!
ReplyDeleteThe Harry Potter tour sounds like so much fun! I'd definitely be on that one! We're planning a trip to London either this summer or next, but we're kinda boring in that our vacations revolve around museums and other educational stuff. What can I say, we really are nerds lol
ReplyDeleteYou're going to love London and how fun that you get to go with friends! thanks for sharing that article - off to read it now!!

My husband and I were together for a long time before we got married. Our dating anniversary is in August and our wedding anniversary is in December. We celebrate both so I guess it's kind of like a half anniversary celebration too! It kind of feels like our dating anniversary is our real anniversary because we've celebrated it so much longer. Weird. Have fun on all of your traveling adventures. I'm so jealous of your Harry Potter plans. Check out the blog lamourdeparis.com for fun Paris ideas. Her photography is so beautiful (and she's from Texas!)...
ReplyDeleteHappy 1.5 year anniversary, lady! That's so sweet you're celebrating! So fun you saw Santa and I'm so excited that you're a Harry Potter girl tooo!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting that article! It's a great read!

Oh my goodness! Have fun at Wicked. It is one of my favorite shows! We're in NYC so I've seen it here, wish I could see it in London too! Love your blog, found it on the link up :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy 1.5 year anniversary! My husband and I are coming up on 1.5 years too...on the 22nd!
ReplyDeleteThose rollo candies do look fun! I'll have to make them with my little guy this year!
ReplyDeleteIn Paris, Notre Dame is beautiful and somewhere you have to see, but so is Sacre Coeur, up on Montmartre. It's less crowded and very different, but worth the trek up the hill.
