Paris, Part Three

Alright here are the last of my Paris pictures! You can also checkout my Part One and Part Two posts for lots more about our trip.

For our last day in Paris we had all these grand plans. But because of my my lovely sickness we took it pretty easy that day. We had plans to go to Luxembourg Gardens and go inside the Louvre (which had like a 2 hour line...at least!) but unfortunately those did not happen. I told Rob, that means we will just have to go back again someday! So I think it worked in my favor:)

We did get to take pictures outside of the Louvre though and seal our love on the Love Lock Bridge!

It was a simple but fun morning! We got to do a little shopping in a beautiful neighborhood (stay tuned for my Paris tips and tricks, including beautiful neighborhoods coming soon!), stroll along the river, and just enjoy Paris a little more!

Paris, thank you for a wonderful time and all the memories..the sad, gross and oh so happy ones!

Paris, Part Two

Our next day in Paris was packed full! We did lots and lots of walking but it sure was a fun day! (Above is a picture of Notre Dame in the daylight...stunning.) Our first stop for the day was Chateau de Versailles...Palace of Versailles.

The Palace of Versailles is a royal palace right outside of Paris. And it is beautiful. The grounds are enormous and full of intricate, amazing gardens. It is also famously known for being the home of Marie Antoinette. It was so neat see such a historical place and a place of such beauty.

 Next up...we walked all around and took in some wonderful sites.

^^^Notre Dame^^^

 ^^^The bridge from the final Paris seen in Something's Gotta Give!^^^

 ^^^The Paris restaurant from Something's Gotta Give. I am a sucker for things like this...Diane Keaton stood here!! I am crazy I know.^^^

 ^^^Nighttime in Paris...so so beautiful^^^

 ^^^The Louvre^^^
 ^^^These babies...let's talk about macaroons. You see I am a huge fan of sweets, love em. But these things, oh my word. I swear there is nothing in the entire world as sweet as these things. So we got some from the famous Lauduree because you have to when in Paris! I tried a bite of each...BAD idea. About 10 minutes later I could tell my stomach was pretty upset. But we kept on walking around for a bit, visited the Eiffel Tower at night and then made our way back to the hotel. I crashed and then about 2 hours later I woke up and....puked my guts out. Lovely, I know. So that night was full of  trips to the bathroom every hour...such a great way to spend our last night in Paris:) Finally around 6 am I fell asleep and woke up again around 9 feeling quite a bit better...wahoo! (And we were able to do most of what we wanted to do the next day...which I will share in my last Paris post.)  So there you have it. My macaroon story in all it's glory...you are welcome. hehe^^^

  ^^^The Eiffel Tower at night...takes your breath away.^^^

This was such a fun day seeing so many sights Paris has to offer! You can see my Paris, Part One post here and I will share Paris, Part Three, the final post tomorrow!

Hope you all are having a wonderful week!

Hello Friends and Happy Friday!

Finally, I am back with a Five on Friday post!

{ONE}
Visitors. We love visitors!! I just can't say that enough. My best friends, Holli and Ellie just left this morning after being here for TWELVE days! It was truly the best. We had so much fun and lots of adventures! We went on a little roadtrip and were able to visit Prague, Vienna, Salzburg (did the sound of music tour!) and Munich. It was so fun and I will be sharing pictures very soon! I already miss these two like crazy...

And that is not the end of our visitors! Rob's mom and brother get here tomorrow! And we cannot wait!!!

{TWO}
I am already starting to look for a few summer pieces to add to my wardrobe. It is early I know but summer clothes are my favorite, especially maxi dresses! And this one is too cute.

{THREE}
With the new year comes lots of resolutions and one of mine is to cook more and cook healthier meals as often as possible. And how good does this recipe look?! Do you have any healthier recipes you love? Please share!!
