Weekending: She is MARRIED!

This weekend was just the best. We got to celebrate our beautiful best friend marrying the love of her life! The weekend was full of so much love, joy and tons of fun. I want to do it all over again! We started off the festivities with a little shower on Thursday night and then her Bridal Brunch Friday morning.

 Our Bride! I truly could not ask for a better friend. 

 My sweet mama. Her and her friends threw such a beautiful Bridal Brunch. 

 So much excitement was in the air this day, we kept on saying "You get married tomorrow!". I just love all the joy and anticipation that surrounds a wedding. And a few of her Bridesmaids...

That night we rehearsed it up and then enjoyed {in true Texas fashion} a delicious barbeque. 

 The sweet couple! We love them so, so much. 

Then the day had arrived!!

We did not all sleep here, no way. But we for sure snuggled up for a picture. So much love for these wonderful friends of mine. 

 After a little yoga session {such a fun idea}, it was time to get ready! We got our hair and makeup done and we all felt so pampered.

Then it was time to walk down that aisle and get this girl married! It was such a sweet ceremony. After lots of pictures, it was time to celebrate! We headed over in a trolley to the most beautiful reception then we danced and celebrated the night away!

 Our girl is married!! The fact that we all got to be together again {at the same time} was just incredible. Do not know what I would do without these ladies.

 Reunited with so many old friends who I have missed very much. Reunions are way too fun.

Whew! Lots of pictures and such a wonderful weekend. Jocelyn and Preston we love you more than words can express and are so incredibly overjoyed for you two!

My 5 Makeup Musts...Part 2

I shared Five of my Makeup Musts a couple of weeks ago and today I am sharing my other five! I love seeing what other people use, so hopefully you enjoy the same!

POWDER

Clinique's Perfectly Real Compact Powder. Love this stuff, it lasts and controls oil! I do not use base so this is my go to every day. I apply shade 116.

CONCEALER

Maybelline's Super Stay 24 Hour Concealer. This stuff is so reasonably priced and applies such great coverage. I also use it for my under eye circles as well! I use the Ivory shade. 

EYE LINER

Clinique's Cream Shaper for Eyes in Chocolate Luster. I have used this for years. I have tried changing it up every once in a while but keep coming back to this one!

BLUSH

Clinique's Blushing Blush Powder Blush in Cupid. Can you tell I like Clinique?? This blush is a great one and a subtle beautiful color. It add just the right shade of pink to the cheeks.

BRUSH

ecoTOOLS Large Powder Brush. These are cost friendly brushes and ones that work great for me! I use this brush for everything, face powder, blush and bronzer. I probably should invest in some different sizes but this large one does everything I need!

Weekending: Family and a Wedding

This weekend my family and I made our way to Dallas for my cousin's wedding. And it was the best...I seriously love weddings! Especially when you are with all your family in an amazingly beautiful setting celebrating a sweet, sweet love. They were married at my Aunt and Uncle's home outside of Dallas and it was the perfect setting for saying "I Do". 

We arrived Friday for the Rehearsal Dinner, spent Saturday relaxing and shopping a little before the wedding, then left Sunday to head back home. A short but very sweet trip!

 My uncles new tree house! It is the cutest and so, so neat. It is like a mini apartment inside!

 I mean these flowers??? They were gorgeous.

 Sadly, the only picture I have of the couple. But she looked beautiful and he so handsome. Such a gorgeous and sweet couple!

It was such a fun weekend celebrating a beautiful commitment and spending time with family. And this weekend my best friend is getting married!!! Another wedding and I can't wait.
